Community and culture centre, Schouweiler
The new cultural center "Pontebier" in the Schouweiler district of the Dippach municipality in Luxembourg is located right next to the town hall and Schouweiler Park. It serves as a venue for celebrations and cultural events. The hall is designed to accommodate around 200 people and features a retractable stage.
From the outside, the building appears as a cool monolith with its metal shingles set in an offset pattern around it. Inside, the hall, with its light wood construction and cladding, creates a warm contrast. The wall claddings are veneered in knot-free spruce and are equipped with micro-perforation for sound absorption. This ensures both aesthetic appeal and acoustic quality.
