National Media and Infocommunication Authory, HUN
The site of the National Media and Infocommunications Authority (NMHH) is surrounded by modern residential buildings on one side and a former industrial park on the other. The designers had to take this duality of location into account in their concept for the design competition. The result is a building that radiates a sense of calm, "resolutely 21st century, speaking the language of its time."
The materials chosen are in harmony with the architectural objectives and meet the high standards set in the specifications in every respect.
The building has been designed to meet environmental requirements: its emissions and noise levels are low. Topakustik from Switzerland has played a major role in the interiors. Thanks to the wooden acoustic wall cladding, the noise levels in the conference rooms, dining areas and passageways are significantly reduced.
