Nørre Fælled School is an extensive renovation and modernization project, transforming a heritage-listed school dating back to 1932 into a contemporary and inspiring learning environment. The project combines respect for the school’s original functionalist architecture with modern solutions that enhance acoustics, indoor climate, and flexible teaching spaces.
As part of the project, Topakustik contributed to the acoustic design with a selection of colorful wood panel solutions. The carefully chosen colors and natural materials add warmth, character, and visual rhythm to the school’s interiors, while improving the acoustic comfort of the learning spaces.
The combination of expressive colors, tactile materials, and high acoustic performance creates a lively and welcoming environment that supports both well-being and learning. The acoustic solutions are seamlessly integrated into the architecture, demonstrating how functional acoustic design can also become an aesthetic and distinctive part of the interior.
