Rodenborch College, Rosmalen NL
A design, made by RoosRos Architecten, resulted in a healthy and future-proof school for 2300 students. The Rodenborch College, situated in Rosmalen, contains several class-rooms, two sport halls, a canteen and a foyer. In the main common area of this school building all the sides of the voids are completely sound absorbing by making use of the Topakustik Classic 28/4 M Aria-Plus. By making use of this large sound absorbing surface the reverberation time in the hall is conform the advice by the acoustic engineers and the background noise is limited. This makes it more comfortable for the students to relax during their breaks. Next to a pleasant acoustic environment it is also feels like nature is brought into the project by make use of the light natural solid spruce top layer.
