Secondary School Centre Burghalde , Baden CH

Masswerk Architekten AG used Topakustik planks Classic 14/2 M in several rooms for the Burghalde secondary school centre in Baden, with a total quantity of over 4,500 m2.

For the ceiling of the refectory, our customer bbf Weber AG produced trapezoidal and triangular parts with adapted edges on its 5-axis CNC-machine and assembled them to form a three-dimensional ceiling. The walls were also lined with the same product in oak veneer. The result is convincing in the overall view as well as in the detail.

Our team was also asked to produce planks in white fir for the two gymnasiums and the multi-purpose hall. By the way: gymnasiums are subject to increased requirements, especially with regard to mechanical resistance. As a solution partner in the planning phase, we were able to provide support for Deweta AG with the implementation details, as well as the door solutions for high bar, rope, ring and media cabinets that we specially developed. In this way, sports halls have been created that can guarantee the high demands regarding acoustics, aesthetics and resistance for years to come.
